N.D. woman sentenced for selling drugs on reservations

A 46-year-old Mandan, ND, woman was sentenced Sept. 19 in U.S. District Court to nearly 20 years in prison after being convicted of distributing drugs and possessing an unregistered firearm on the Cheyenne River and Rosebud Sioux reservations. Judge Roberto A.

Moreau River Sanctuary rebranding with new name, expanded purpose

Here in West River cattle country, almost every ranch has its own brand. Now a local non-profit is undergoing a re-branding, of sorts, hoping to continue supporting its Faith-based mission by opening its doors as a multi-purpose facility after taking a huge hit due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Horizon Health Care provides telehealth services in all three of its service areas – medical, dental, and behavioral health, but during the month of September we’re focusing on the advantages telehealth can provide for mental health needs. September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.
