Planning initiated for Freshman Impact at Timber Lake High School

The Timber Lake freshmen have been attending Freshman Impact, an educational program, for several years. We first attended in Lemmon before it moved to Faith. We are now working to have a Freshman Impact Program here in Timber Lake.

Goldade, Lafferty graduate from LATC

Rachael Goldade and Riley Lafferty were May 12, 2023 graduates of Lake Area Technical College in Watertown. Rachael graduated as a Registered Nurse. She is employed at West Dakota Health Center in Timber Lake. She and husband Alex and three children live near Timber Lake.

USDA extends application deadline for revenue loss programs to July 14

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is extending the deadline for the Emergency Relief Program (ERP) Phase Two and Pandemic Assistance Revenue Program (PARP) to July 14, 2023, to give producers more time to apply for assistance. The original deadline was June 2.

Many farmers are out busy planting for the upcoming season. Brady and Lashea Bickel welcomed a baby girl on Thursday evening, May 25 at 6:50 p.m. She weighed 7 lbs., 7 oz. and was 19.5 inches long. They named her Raelyn Shea Bickel.
