Summer Reading at School Library begins June 7

“All Together Now,” is the theme for this Summer’s Reading Program. There are 86 students registered for the program. The School Library will be open on Wednesday from 9:0010:30 AM on the following dates: June 7, June 14, June 21, and June 28.

Head Start Commencement

Kim Shannon recognized for 41 years of teaching

Dupree School held their annual end of year staff party and this year they also celebrated two special staff members who are retiring after outstanding service to Dupree School for many years. Kim Shannon has been a teacher for the Dupree Elementary School during her entire teaching career.

USDA previews emergency assistance for producers who incurred losses due to 2022 disasters

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack has announced plans to roll out $3.7 billion in Emergency Relief Program (ERP) and Emergency Livestock Relief Program (ELRP) assistance to crop and livestock producers who sustained losses due to a qualifying natural disaster event in calendar year 2022.
