NWAS Academic Olympics set for April 12 at Dupree

The Northwest Area Schools Academic Olympics is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, April 12 at Dupree School. Students from the following schools plan to participate: Bison, Dupree, Faith, Harding County, Lemmon, McIntosh, and Timber Lake. The awards ceremony will begin at approximately 3 p.m.

Since reorganiation in the fall of 2022, Dewey County now has four 4-H clubs and five leaders. Members of the Cross Trail Blazers 4-H Club and their guests recently held a meeting and completed a 4-H clover craft.

Cross Trail Blazers 4-H Club elects 2023 officers

The Dewey County Cross Trail Blazers 4-H Club had its first meeting of the year on March 16. Group leader Kari Goldade opened the meeting and Greyson Goldade performed an experiment teaching the club about chemical reactions. Next, the club members elected officers.
