Future teachers attend Educators Rising Convention

A group from Timber Lake High School recently attended the SD Educators Rising State Convention at Black Hills State University in Spearfish. They all took in inspirational keynote speakers and breakout sessions on teaching, learning, and the education profession.

Final flurry lifts T’hawks past TL boys in regionals

Timber Lake and Tiospaye Topa combined for 51 points in a fastpaced fourth quarter at the Region 8B boys basketball tournament in Faith last Tuesday, Feb. 28, and after blowing a 12 point lead, the Thunderhawks had to hold off a hardcharging Panther squad at the end to collect a 75-71 victory.

On Friday, Chuck and Marsha Aberle came home from Bismarck after spending the day there. They visited Corona Friez and her kids Briston, Breckon, and Bray. Bill and Lynn Hahne have been gone for the past month traveling the East Coast visiting family and friends. They got home this past Sunday.
