Mavis Dahlgren writes memoir

Mavis Dahlgren of Timber Lake has written a memoir of her childhood years from 1940-1954. Growing Up a Johnson in Campbell County tells the story in text and photos, as she remembers, of the years she grew up on a farm in Campbell County.

Selling holiday decor

Madison Cruff of Isabel (RIGHT) and her mother, Jodie Scherr, were among more than a dozen vendors at the Isabel Holiday Craft Fair held Saturday, Dec. 3. Cruff and Scherr were offering a variety of homemade holiday decor items. Madison teaches the Health Science Unit for Northwest Area Schools.

Leithauser competes in State FFA speaking competition

Dupree High School's Trinity Leithauser, a sophomore and member of the Dupree FFA Chapter, received 13th place in State FFA Prepared Public Speaking competition. Her speech was on “Food Quality and Reduction of Food-Borne Illnesses.
