North Dakota teen charged in shooting of McLaughlin man

A 16-year-old accused of fatally shooting a 28-year-old McLaughlin man at a Bismarck, ND motel on Sept. 23 entered a not guilty plea last week and will be tried as an adult on felony charges of murder and aggravated assault. Jesse Taylor Jr. of Mandan, ND, entered a plea last Friday, Oct.

Corson County Sheriff Alan Dale October 18 8:25 p.m. assisted the BIA Police with a stabbing in Little Eagle. October 20 6:05 a.m. responded to a car vs. deer accident on Highway 20, three miles east of Trail City. The driver was transported to the hospital for minor injuries. 9:21 a.m.
The annual All State Chorus and Orchestra performed at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls on Saturday, Oct. 29. Over 1,000 chorus and orchestra students represented all classes of schools from across the state. Timber Lake Elementary Kristin Long – 3rd Grade With the start of a new reading curriculum the third graders have started their year off learning about the sea. They were able to read about famous explorers, tools that scientists use to explore the sea, and what scientists have discovered.
