Remains of former Little Eagle POW/MIA to be interred Sept. 30

The U.S. military’s Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) announced Monday, Sept. 19, that the remains of U.S. Army Pfc. Melvin J. Little Bear, 21, who was killed during the Korean War were accounted for earlier this summer. Little Bear was the son of John and Agnes Little Bear of Little Eagle.

Students from Spain and Italy spending the school year with Timber Lake families
