Sign-up for prairie dog control program ends Aug. 15

The South Dakota departments of Game, Fish and Parks (GFP) and Agriculture and Natural Resources (DANR) remind South Dakota landowners to register for assistance with prairie dog encroachment from public lands. The deadline for enrollment is August 15.

Two poker runs Saturday

Isabel Dakotan July 5, 1962 Paul Stradinger buys Jack French Ranch Paul Stradinger recently purchased the neighboring Jack French ranch. Mr. and Mrs. French will move to the ONO ranch and be associated with Jack’s parents. The ranch purchased by Stradinger is the former Clarence Myers place.

Carla McPherson and her kids have been here visiting Bill and Lynn Hahne since the 4th of July weekend. While they were here, Carla’s kids attended swimming lessons in Mobridge. Marty and Tobi Hintz attended the National HS Rodeo finals in Gillette, Wyoming. Tobi competed in the Queen competition.
