1,000 Days and Counting The Timber Lake fifth graders recently celebrated reaching 1,000 days in school since they started kindergarten. To celebrate this accomplishment, we practiced budgeting. Each student had the opportunity to dream of how they would spend exactly 1,000 dollars.

The old South Dakota State Library Bookmobile that delivered books to schools in Dewey, Corson and Ziebach counties 50-60 years ago, had been sitting on a vacant lot in Isabel until it was moved to Timber Lake. It’s parked behind the Tribute to Rodeo sculpture and the Blacksmith Shop.
