Next Wednesday, November 11 is Veterans Day. Due to the pandemic, the Timber Lake American Legion Auxiliary will not be having their annual Veterans Day supper and program but will find other ways to honor local vets.

Construction on N63 Water Project to begin in spring

Funding has been approved for a project to bring Missouri River water to northern Dewey County, including Timber Lake. The project has been in the planning stages for several years. The US Dept. of Agriculture (USDA) and Mni Waste Water announced last week that $32.

At press time the winner of the Presidential race in Tuesday’s election had not been determined, but as expected, South Dakota favored Pres. Trump, and Sen. Mike Rounds and Rep. Dusty Johnson, both Republicans, easily won reelection.
