Several area competitors scored first place finishes at stops along the Indian National Finals Rodeo (INFR) Tour in Rocky Boy, MT and Pine Ridge the weekend of Aug. 1-4.
At the Ah Si Ni Wi Yin Rodeo in Rocky Boy, Kelci Bends of Cherry Creek topped the leaderboard in ladies breakaway roping with an impressive 2.27 second run that earned her more than $4,000 in prize money.
