Tigers upset No. 5 Ranchers, advance in Class 9A playoffs

    Senior superstar Brayden Terveen-Smith rushed for 334 yards and three touchdowns to power the Dupree Tigers past Harding County/Bison in a 50-28 upset of the No. 5 Ranchers in the first round of the State Class 9A football playoffs last Thursday, Oct. 24.

    Dupree’s victory avenged a 26-14 loss to HC/Bison during the regular season and gave the Tigers their first playoff victory since 2011. Dupree, 6…
