Electric rates to increase by 9.7 percent on Jan. 1

Beginning on January 1, Moreau-Grand Electric Cooperative will implement a rate increase.

Customers may refer to their January edition of Moreau-Grand Electric Cooperative Connections for a complete analysis of each rate class.

The overall average increase is 9.7 percent. A monthly residential bill using 1,000 kWh will increase by $14.51.
