Natalie Lawrence is interning with the Timber Lake Topic this summer, writing articles and conducting interviews. She has expressed that the internship has and will teach her how to interact with the public and manage her time with firm deadlines.
Natalie is the daughter of Cody and Mary Lawrence, graduated from Timber Lake High School in 2025. She just finished her first year at Bismarck State College pursuing a degree in mass communications. She chose Bismarck State specifically because they have a mass communications program. Natalie says she is “unsure what exactly I want to do yet, but I could do anything from public relations, journalism, marketing, digital media, broadcasting, and entertainment and media production.”
Her favorite part of the internship has been the interviews and the connections that come with meeting and talking to new people. She looks forward to working out of her comfort zone and continuing to learn.
