Elgin Logg, 64, of Eagle Butte passed away June 17, 2026 at the Cheyenne River Health Center in Eagle Butte.
A procession from the 4-mile junction will be held at 10 a.m. MT on July 2. Funeral services will follow immediately at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Eagle Butte. Burial will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery, LaPlant.
Elgin was born on May 14, 1962 in Eagle Butte to Joshua Logg, Sr. and Virginia Mae (Black Prairie Dog) Logg.
He is survived by his eldest daughter, Mary (Logg) Donley; his sons, Elgin Logg, Jr., and Cornelius Logg; and his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Joshua Brian Logg, Jr., Adrian Logg, Lewellyn Logg, Laverne Logg, and Cornelius Logg; and his sisters, Juanita Logg and Annabelle Logg.
