Shawn Mahoney, 55, of Puyallup, WA died July 6, 2026 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup.
Shawn was born November 1, 1970 to Dennis Mahoney and Linda (Ritter) Mahoney at Glenwood Springs, CO. He grew up on a farm near Timber Lake and graduated from Central High School in Rapid City in 1989. He served in the Army from 1990-1996. He worked at Core and Main in Puyallup for more than 30 years.
He married Karla Earle on October 9, 1992. Shawn is survived by his wife, Karla; son Tyler (Delaney) Mahoney of Tacoma, WA; sisters Kim Mahoney and Erin Mahoney of Norwood, CO and Melissa (Blaine) Wilkinson of Britton; and brother Boyd Schweitzer of Timber Lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father, C. Dwight Schweitzer.
Tuell-McKee Funeral Home of Puyallup was in charge of arrangements. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. on October 9, 2026 at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA.
