Chas Jewett of Eagle Butte is the Democratic candidate for the District 28A seat in the S.D. House of Representatives. She replaces Carl Petersen, who had filed earlier but withdrew after deciding to attend law school.
Jewett was nominated at a meeting of the Dewey County Democrats and filed her petition with the Secretary of State as part of the process required for replacement candidates.
