Trevor Neil Three Legs, 34, of Eagle Butte entered the spirit world, Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City.
Wake services were held October 1, 2026 at the CRST Bingo Hall in Eagle Butte. Burial followed at St. Elizabeth’s Cemetery in Wakpala.
Trevor was born January 18, 1992 in La Jolla, CA to Harold Three Legs Sr. and Adell White Dog. He was the seventh of eight children and eventually made his home in Eagle Butte.
Anyone who knew Trevor knew he loved to laugh. His family and friends remember him as being happy, funny, helpful, generous, and loving, and he had a way of bringing humor wherever he went. His coworkers at the Eagle Stop and Taco John’s remembered Trevor as a treasured employee.
Trevor worked at the Eagle Stop and Taco John’s in Eagle Butte and had worked toward earning his GED. One summer, Trevor also worked as a wildland firefighter, traveling with a crew to help fight fires where they were needed.
Trevor also helped his mom, Adell, at the Mustard Seed, a community ministry in Eagle Butte, when he could, including preparing and delivering meals to people in need.
One of the most important people in Trevor’s life was his daughter, Shelloni Sitting Dog. They shared a love of basketball and enjoyed watching the Oklahoma City Thunder together.
Trevor leaves behind his daughter, Shelloni Sitting Dog; his parents, Harold Three Legs Sr. and Adell White Dog; and his siblings, Mary (Brett) Donley, Krystal Three Legs, Harold (Stephanie) Three Legs, Henry Three Legs, Katherine Three Legs, and Ramona Three Legs (Oscar High Elk). Among his many nieces and nephews are Erma, Cheyenne, Yamni, Dimitri Jr., Rayson, Rae’Lynn, Oceti, and Josephine. He also leaves behind many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members, friends.
Trevor was preceded in death by his infant sister, Ramona Three Legs; grandmothers Mona, Rose, and Matilda; uncles David, Gerald Sr., and Donald Nephi; aunts Henrietta and Melva; cousin Deanna White Dog; nieces Brandi Rose and Michelle; and nephews Michael and Stoney.
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg was in charge of arrangements.
