A two-point conversion.
That’s how close the Timber Lake Panthers came from forcing overtime on Friday after erasing a 16-point third quarter deficit. A failed two-point conversion with under a minute to play in regulation proved to be the difference in a 38-36 loss to the Kadoka Area Kougars that more than likely knocked the Panthers out of 9-man playoff contention.
