The Lemmon/McIntosh Cowboys revved up an effective ground game to beat the Dupree Tigers 56-6 Friday at Dupree’s field. Senior running backs Brayden Peterson and Kaleb Bucks and the L/M offensive line were too much for the Tigers to handle, as Peterson racked up 4 rushing touchdowns and Bucks added 229 rushing yards and a touchdown. Jordan Maier and Cody Thompson threw a TD pass each and Alec O’Donnell added a late rushing TD.

The two teams were scoreless after the first quarter but the Cowboys exploded for 38 points in the second quarter.
