Making your home smoke-free is a great way to prevent a home fire. By asking those who smoke to always smoke outside you are dramatically reducing your risk of a home fire. The statistics on home fires do not lie, in 2015 across the United States smoking in homes caused 13.8% of fatal residential fires. You can easily prevent this from happening to you and your family by taking action and making your home smoke-free.

It is important that you know the steps to take to keep yourself and your family safe from home fires. Always smoke outside because many things in your home can catch on fire if they touch something hot like a cigarette or ashes.
