Robert “Bob” Chasing Hawk, Sr.

Robert “Bob” Chasing Hawk, Sr., 75, of Eagle Butte entered the Spirit World on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City.

Bob is survived by his wife, Aldena Chasing Hawk of Eagle Butte; four sons, Devlon Chasing Hawk, Robert Chasing Hawk, Jr., and William Chasing Hawk of Eagle Butte, and Alexander Chasing Hawk of Rapid City; two daughters, Shanna Chasing Hawk of Eagle Butte and Jocelyn Chasing Hawk of Minneapolis; two adopted daughters, Monique Pretty Weasel and LaDonna Chasing Hawk of Eagle Butt; one sister, Alexina Evans of Timber Lake; 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In compliance with the CDC Covid19 regulations and the CRST Tribal Directives, a funeral service for family only was held Monday, January 11, 2021 at Rooks Funeral Home in Eagle Butte with burial at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery at Red Scaffold.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rooks Funeral Home of Eagle Butte.
