The farm house of Mr. and Mrs. James Archer 2 miles north of Isabel burned to the ground Monday morning. Mr. Archer started a fire and went back to bed. Later he was awakened by the barking of his dog. Smelling smoke, he sprang out of bed and found the roof around the chimney all ablaze. The morning was foggy and no one from town noticed the fire.
