Dayton Spiel’s first season as part of Bullfighters Only tour is about to ramp up at Las Vegas championships

The old saying goes that if you mess with the bull, you get the horns. For Dayton Spiel, messing with the bull is his job. Spiel’s first season with the Bullfighters Only national circuit will culminate in Las Vegas in December, where more than $100,000 will be up for grabs as rodeo’s top freestyle bullfighters face off in the tour’s finale.

Currently 6th in the BFO World Standings with $13,800 in winnings, Spiel is in position to vie for the world title in Vegas. Now residing in Faith, Dayton hails from Parade and is a graduate of Dupree School. Texas’ Weston Rutkowski (the defending champion) rules the standings with $42,068.
