The Mobridge Livestock Market used its sale on Thursday, Jan. 28, to raise funds to assist those affected by the Windy Fire near Lemmon in January. The blaze burned nearly 20,000 acres of land, hay supplies and more.
The sale barn's fundraising effort generated $18,715 and that amount was matched by Dacotah Bank of Lemmon, bringing the total raised to $37,430.
