Clint Boyd, senior paleontologist for the North Dakota Geological Survey, and Mindy Householder, a fossil preparator and educator, will bring their expertise to Fossil Days at the Timber Lake & Area Museum on two Saturdays — March 3 and March 17. At 9 a.m. both days they will give a power point presentation on the geology and paleontology of the region followed by a “show and tell” session where people can bring fossil specimens and ask questions.

The public is welcome to attend all or part of the day’s activities. Householder will conduct a fossil prep workshop in the museum’s lab beginning at 10:30. Pre-registration is requested for the fossil prep workshop. A $10 fee covers materials.
