Edwin Cook, 84, of Plainview, TX departed this earthly world on April 4, 2021. A funeral service was held at Bartley Memorial Chapel on April 7, 2021.
Edwin was born to Ed and Virginia (Hawkins) Cook on August 10, 1936 in Cheney, KS. He was a custom harvester for over 50 years and loved his career to the fullest. Edwin enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and had a love for motorcycles. He was a giving man and was always thinking and doing for others.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife; Phyllis (Schweitzer) Cook of Plainview, his children — Edwina Cook of Sunset, TX, Wade (Wendy) Cook of Bedford, TX, and Brandy (Ted) Miller of Plainview; sisters, Donna Johnson of Wichita, KS, Phyllis Batterton of Anthony, KS, Mary-Kay Daniels of Hugoton, KS, and Carolyn Dixon of Richfield, KS; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Edwin is preceded in death by his parents Ed and Virginia Cook.
