Dorothy Kay Hawk, 76, of Overton, NE died Monday, April 19, 2021, at her son’s home in Omaha surrounded by family.
Burial was at Orchard Hill Cemetery near Orchard, NE with Lonna Grabenstein, chaplain, ruralMed Home Health and Hospice, officiating. Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington was in charge of arrangements.
Dorothy was born February 13, 1945 near Isabel to Harvey and Rose (Burkley) Hill.
She married Margo Martinez in South Dakota. They later divorced.
She married John “Jack” Hawk in March 1976. He preceded her in death in 1996.
Survivors include her children, Tammie Zediker of Overton, Joe Martinez of Omaha, Greg Martinez of Overton, John Martinez of Overton and Ed Martinez of Omaha; stepchildren, John Hawk of Denison, IA, Rick Hawk of Arizona, Randy Hawk of Omaha, Dee Dee Totten of Denison, Teresa Miller and Steve Hawk of Burwell, NE; brother Ted Hill of Nisland; and sisters Loretta Hill of Troy, NY and Rachel Rosenau of Gillette, WY.
