The Timber Lake American Legion Auxiliary announces the winners of the 2021 poppy poster contest. The poppy became the official flower of the American Legion in 1920 to memorialize the soldiers who fought and died during World War I. Proceeds from the sale of paper poppies support services for military veterans and their families.
