Scholarship winner

Natalie (Schoeppner) Biegler of Timber Lake participated in the Miss South Dakota’s Outstanding Teen pageant in Brookings last weekend. She was named Miss Jacks Outstanding Teen at SDSU in 2019 but the state pageant was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At the pageant, Natalie was awarded the Non-finalist Scholarship for $250 and the James L. and Ardis Johnson SDSU Jackrabbit Scholarship for $1,250. Natalie is the daughter of Bo and Christa Biegler of Timber Lake and a junior at Timber Lake High School. Kianna Healy, 17, of Hartford was crowned South Dakota’s Outstanding Teen Saturday afternoon.
