The Gansen family from Dubuque, Iowa accidentally landed at the first night of the Days of 1910 Celebration. L-R are Joann and Peter Gansen, granddaughter Emma, and daughter Missy. They had located Joann’s grandparents’ homestead just north of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church north of Firesteel and then stopped at the museum, where they learned about the German supper in the tent.
