After 36 years as Dewey County State’s Attorney, Steve Aberle is leaving the post at the end of September. He said he intends to spend more time outdoors and with his family but will be available to help his replacement get started.
The resignation prompted discussion at the Tuesday, August 10 meeting of the Dewey County Commission about finding a replacement.
