Vernell Hoechst, 66, of Bismarck, ND died following a motorcycle crash 13 miles southeast of Bison last Wednesday, Sept. 8.
The driver was riding a 2011 Harley-Davidson FLHTK motorcycle southbound on Bixby Road near the intersection of Ridgeview Road around 1:30 p.m. when the motorcycle went into the ditch and he was thrown off, according to Highway Patrol spokesman Tony Mangan.
