John Isadore Rousseau, Sr., 77, of Eagle Butte passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Ft. Meade VA Medical Center at Sturgis.
John is survived by his wife of 53 years, Susie Rousseau of Eagle Butte; two sons, John Rousseau, Jr. and Chad Rousseau of Eagle Butte; three daughters, Trisha Kennedy, Katherine Rousseau and Dawn Rousseau of Eagle Butte; a brother, Leo Rousseau, Sr. of Eagle Butte; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. MT on Friday, October 8, 2021, at All Saints Catholic Church in Eagle Butte with Rev. John Paul Trask presiding. Burial with full military rites will be at a later date at Black Hills National Cemetery at Sturgis.
