The Timber Lake City Board voted on October 12 to sign an agreement for a Mesonet weather station to be installed at the Timber Lake airport. Mesonet is a statewide network operated by S.D. State University to provide live information on wind, rain and snow precipitation, snow depth, temperature and moisture profiles for emergency services and the general public.
