Panthers lose 23-20 heartbreaker; finish season 9-2

A one-handed, falling down touchdown catch by a Platte-Geddes receiver with 2:18 left to play, coupled with a pair of Timber Lake turnovers in the final minute, decided a hardfought 23-20 battle in favor of the visiting Black Panthers last Friday, Nov. 5, in the semifinals of the state Class 9AA football playoffs.
