8:50 p.m.: Responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in McLaughlin. Investigation was turned over to B.I.A. Police.

December 2

9:12 a.m.: Responded to a residence in McLaughlin for a report of a burglary.

3:18 p.m.: Responded to a male having trouble breathing in McLaughlin. Male was transported by Standing Rock Ambulance.

December 3

12:27 a.m.: Responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in McLaughlin. Incident was turned over to B.I.A. Police.

6:49 p.m.: Responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in McLaughlin. It was found the disturbance actually took place in Little Eagle.

8:38 p.m.: Received a report of a male who had violated a no-contact order. Report sent to the State’s Attorney’s office.

December 4

10:05 a.m.: Responded to a report of a hay bale in the road on Highway 12, five miles east of Walker.

December 6

3:57 p.m.: Received a report of cattle out on Highway 12, five miles east of McIntosh.

7:53 p.m.: Responded to a report of a person walking on Highway 1806 by the Singing Bridge and had been struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, it was found that the subject was not injured.

December 9

6:47 p.m.: Conducted a traffic stop on US Highway 12 by Keldron. The K9 was deployed on the vehicle. After a positive K9 indication, a search of the vehicle was conducted. The driver, a 29-year-old male from Grand Forks, ND, was arrested and charged with the following: Abused and neglected child, drugs-unauthorized ingestion of controlled drug/substance Schedule II, possession of a controlled drug/ substance Schedule II, possession of firearm by former violent offender, possession or use drug paraphernalia by driver. Charges are pending on the passenger, a 28-year-old female from Grand Forks, ND.

December 11

6:38 p.m.: Responded to a report of an injury accident on 109th ST and 261st AVE.

December 12

12:38 a.m.: Responded to a report of an assault at a residence in McLaughlin.

December 13 1:52 a.m.: Responded to Main

1:52 a.m.: Responded to Main Street in McLaughlin to assist B.I.A. Police with a traffic stop. Upon arrival, B.I.A. advised that they conducted a traffic stop and learned there were drugs inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed approximately 80 pounds of marijuana, $3,000 currency, a small amount of methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. A 63-year-old male from Olympia, WA was arrested for the following: Drugs-unauthorized ingestion of controlled drug/substance Schedule II, ingesting substance excluding alcohol/to intoxicate, possession controlled drug/substance Schedule II, possession of marijuana more than 10 lbs., possession or use drug paraphernalia by driver, possession with intent to distribute 1 lb. or more marijuana.

The Corson County Sheriff’s Office responded to 145 calls for service between 11/29/2021 to 12/13/2021.
