School, community put the fun in family night

  • Each teaching team had a collection jar in the hallway from March 7-23. Students were encouraged to bring loose change and put it in the jar for the teachers that they wanted to kiss a “jungle animal.” Alision Nilson (CENTER) furnished the animal (a bunny) and teachers Sierra Kraft (LEFT) and Shanna Gebhardt (RIGHT) each gave him a kiss. All the money earned was divided among the participating teachers to buy books at the book fair for their classroom libraries.
