There will be at least two legislative races in District 28 this year.
Ralph Lyon of Meadow, a Republican, has filed for the District 28A seat held by incumbent Oren Lesmeister of Parade, a Democrat, who has also filed.
And Neal Pinnow of Lemmon and Thomas Brunner of Nisland have both filed for the District 28B seat to replace Sam Marty, who is now in District 28A due to redistricting.
