Dupree thrower Cassidy Farlee won the Region 6A discus championship last Thursday, May 19, in Winner, as both the Tiger boys and girls teams finished fifth overall in the team standings.
Farlee, a sophomore, hit a mark of 99-4 feet with her best toss to claim top honors in the event. She also placed sixth overall in the shot put with a throw of 29-1 feet.
