A 1965 graduate of Timber Lake High School will be honored this summer when the Dowagiac Union School in Dowagiac, MI, names its new baseball field after him.
Dean Hagen of Niles, MI, coached 21 years of baseball at the school and never had a losing season. Eight of his players were drafted into the minor leagues and 14 players received full or partial college scholarships.
