Barbara J. Moncrief, 60, of Isabel entered the Spirit World on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Mobridge Regional Hospital.
Funeral services were held Friday, September 23, 2022 at Rooks Funeral Home in Eagle Butte. Cremation followed and burial of cremains will take place at a later date.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ferrell Moncrief of Timber Lake; her six children: Erik Wahle, Joshua Wahle, Kyle Bryant, Sarah Bryant (James Slieter), and Junior Moncrief, all of Sioux Falls, and Samantha Bryant of Timber Lake; siblings Dawn Johnson of Sioux Falls; Elton Bear Eagle of Timber Lake, Ruby Chavez of Timber Lake, Dayton Chavez and Clayton Chavez of Pueblo, CO; uncle David West and Renée West of Rapid City and Eagle Butte; aunt Nancy West of Eagle Butte; cousins Ted Taylor and Jerry Taylor of Eagle Butte, Heidi Solberg and husband of Arizona, and Cindy Taylor of Isabel; many nieces and nephews, and several grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lavina Bear Eagle; sister Georgia Little Shield; and aunts and uncles.
