DHS seniors experience job shadowing to get firsthand look at possible careers
DHS senior Treg Thorstenson spent the day with Director Priscilla as well as the many other departments that make The Monument (Civic Center) in Rapid City run smoothly with the many events and performances that are coordinated and held there.
While many people tell students to “get an education so that you can get a better job,” there is a lot more to the plan than that. After the high school education is complete, many career paths are quite specific as to the training needed to get those desired jobs and that training is expensive.
