Thomas “Tom” Keller

February 29, 1964 – October 25, 2022

Thomas Jeffrey “Tom” Keller was born on February 29, 1964 in Mobridge to Theofil “TJ” and Magdalene “Maggie” (Silbernagel) Keller. He celebrated a sobriety birthdate of July 25, 1993. He suddenly passed away on October 25, 2022, in Isabel.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. MT on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at the New Hope Church in Timber Lake with Pastor Bryce Schaffer officiating. Tom’s cremains will be scattered at a later date at a location that always brought him serenity and good memories.

Tom went to both Catholic and public school in Timber Lake. He was most proud of his two college degrees from United Tribes Technical College and North Dakota State School of Science. His main occupation in life was as a laborer. He worked at the cheese plants in Timber Lake and Mandan, ND; the coal plants in North Dakota; and several pipelines.

Tom is survived by his wife, Karla Nordyke of Isabel; his Godmother, Vivian Keller of Rapid City; his stepgrandson Jordan (Katelyn) Haluzak and their daughter, Daisy Mae; and his in-law siblings: Kathy (Dennis) Growcock of Lebanon, OR, Cindy (DeLyle) Paulsen of Charlo, MT, and Sonny His Chase of Mobridge and Selfridge, ND; his siblings, Diana (Keith) Guentschow of Layton, UT, Tina (Roger) Salwei of Loveland, CO, Terry Keller of Timber Lake and Phoenix, AZ, Brenda Keller of Ortonville, MN, and Toby Keller of Rapid City; several nieces and nephews and numerous fellow members of Alcoholics Anonymous who are all special friends.

Preceding Tom in death are his parents, TJ and Maggie Keller; his Godfather, Alfred Keller; his brother John “Jack” Keller; his special “aunt and uncle” Art and Rose Rehn; his parents-in-law, Ken and Doris Nordyke and his brother-in-law, Dutch Nordyke.
