On December 4, 2022 Luke Crance of Mankato, MN was promoted to Captain 1 in the S.D. National Guard at a ceremony in Huron. He is the Battalion Physician Assistant for the 153rd Engineer Battalion. As a civilian Crance is a Physician Assistant working in emergency medicine for Mayo Clinic in Mankato, MN. Attending the ceremony were his wife, Jackie, and daughter Maya. Luke is the son of Roy and Ann Crance of Timber Lake, grandson of Carol Crance of Mobridge, and a graduate of Timber Lake High School.
