Funeral services for Ella Reich Schaeffer, 79, of Lena, LA were held Saturday, June 10, 2023 in the Cotile Baptist Church of Boyce, LA with the Reverend Rob McLane officiating. Committal services were in Merrell Cemetery of Lena under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home of Alexandria, LA.
Ella entered eternal rest on Monday, June 5, 2023, in Center Point, LA.
She was born August 19, 1943 on the home farm near Firesteel to Christian and Christina (Hieb) Reich. Ella loved sewing, babysitting, passing out tracts, and gardening. She did crafts for bible school for ages 4-5, worked in Awana at Airbase Road Baptist Church for 21 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Schaeffer; parents, Christian and Christina (Hieb) Reich; and two brothers, Ervin and James Reich.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Rose (Armondo) Limon of Las Vegas, NV and their children and grandchildren; her daughter LouAnn (Kelton)
