Glennette Evelyn (Jones) Lyons, 65, of Faith passed away at her home west of Usta on June 7, 2023.
Funeral services were held June 17, 2023 at the Indian Creek Lutheran Church south of Meadow. Burial was in the Chance Cemetery.
Glenette was born on September 14, 1957 to Glenn and Evelyn Jones. She went to school up until the 8th grade. After leaving school she helped her family on the family ranch and running the Usta Store. In 1993 she worked hard at getting her GED. In 1979 she met and married James Ellard Lyons Sr. and they had three children, Jamie, Candy and James.
Glenette enjoyed gardening, various collections, fishing, hunting, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends but above everything else she loved her card games and her grandchildren the most.
Glenette is survived by her husband, James Sr. of Faith; two daughters, Jamie (Joseph) Bohm of Faith and Candace Lyons of Sturgis; son James (Sasha) Lyons of Belle Fourche; two brothers, Robert (Florence) Jones of Thornton, CO and Charles Jones of Belle Fourche; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Fred Jones; one sister, Pearl Jones; one granddaughter, Grace Bohm; two nieces, Sue and Tammy; one nephew, Fred Jr.; and numerous aunts and uncles.
