Baby boy Ronin Jace Chavez entered the Spirit World on Friday, July 14, 2023, at Sanford Medical Center at Fargo, ND.
A funeral service was held Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with Pastor James Kline officiating. Burial was at the LDS Mormon Cemetery at Cherry Creek.
Baby Ronin is survived by his parents, Sariah Chavez and Devon Traversie of Eagle Butte; maternal grandparents Jonalyn Chavez of Eagle Butte and Justin Bowker of Lower Brule; maternal grandmother Dale Iron Lightning of Eagle Butte and Shellie Peterson.
