Dewey County will have a new county auditor as of September 26, following action by the county commissioners last week.
Jamalia Franzen, current deputy auditor, will replace Mary Ducheneaux, who submitted her resignation at the September 5 commission meeting. The commissioners appointed Franzen at a special meeting, held on September 7.
